Turning the fashion world on its head, Helmut Lang presented his Fall Winter 1998 show digitally.  Before now all shows took place and Paris and were only really seen by those attending, this leap by Lang helped democratize the runway experience and allowed all to participate.  Incorporating the internet seemed only natural for a designer with a focus on minimalism, technical fabrics, and workwear elements.
